WE PROPOSE A LONG UNINTERRUPTED OBSERVATION OF THE X-RAY BINARY SYSTEM CYGNUS X-3, LASTING FOR 4,8HOURS (THE PERIOD OF THE SYSTEM), IN ORDER TO STUDY THE COLOUR EVOLUTION OF THE INFRARED FLARES SEEN IN THIS EXOTIC OBJECT. IN PARTICULAR WE WISH TO TEST THE PREDICTIONS OF THE RELATIVISTIC JET MODEL REGARDING THE SPECTRAL BEHAVIOUR DURING THE FLARES This proposal is identical to proposal II (PROPID=CYGNUSX4) except that this proposal contains the Autumn launch target list while proposal II contain the Spring launch target list
